Sucre having the reputation of being the most beautiful city in Bolivia is definitely true - located in a beautiful valley, the well preserved colonial architecture, charming white buildings, and well maintained parks are speaking for themselves. The city has quite a European feel with cozy cafés dotted around, many spanish schools to choose from, the cinema showing a surprisingly wide range of films, and most definitely the country's best pastry and chocolate shops are located here too. A culinarist won't be disappointed either - Sucre has a surprisingly good selection of really nice restaurants. The city only has just over 193 000 habitants, and with it's chilled out vibe it's definitely worth stopping here and enjoy the slow paced life for a bit whilst visiting this wonderful little country.
